Your blog hostess at Western Reformed Seminary library in 2003. My study of New Testament Greek there catapulted us from a Brethren fellowship when I realized that I was a Calvinist. I announced to DH that I absolutely needed to attend a church centered on expository Reformed preaching and he agreed and did an internet search for “Spurgeon Tacoma.” We had been reading Spurgeon’s sermons to fill the preaching gap in our Brethren meetings. Up came Providence Reformed Baptist Church. Within the week we were vistors; the following week we were attenders, and within the year we were members. And there, by God’s abiding grace, we remain.
