Now, now, now, Senator Clinton, let’s mean what we say

February 25, 2008

Here’s the quote from a news article from today:

“Battling to wrest back the initiative, Clinton said in her speech at George Washington University that unlike Obama, she did not ‘”need a foreign policy instruction manual to guide me through a crisis.'”

Ah, but Senator Clinton does avail herself of those handy foreign policy instruction manuals.  Click on the photo to enlarge and read the title.

It amuses me how people just don’t want to see that Hillary is a liar.

Maybe if Hillary Clinton have taken her time, done some questioning, and listened to the advice of others maybe she wouldn’t have voted for the war in Iraq. All the policy manuals in the world and all the knowledge and experience in the world can not make up for a lack of judgement. When Bush took the US into the war in Iraq it wasn’t a lack of knowledge or a need to read policy manuals before acting but a plain lack of good judgement. All the other countries in the world, with the exception of Great Britain, knew that the US would be exactly where it is today. That is not supperior knowledge or policy manuals but supperior good judgement of their leaders over that of Bush.

It’s easy to see the type of people Obama is attracting. Some cannot spell, nor do they listen to what people say.

Hillary said she agreed to go in “with inspectors” to see what was going on – not to invade! Hillary never said she has never read a “manual,” she has already conducted her research and has formed a hypothesis and has created a plan – to whatever issue is at hand- to address such issue.

Bev in Canada seems to think that time is a luxury in a crisis situation. There are leaders that need to make a split decision and “believe” others when asked “what are we voting on?”

We need someone who is familiar with the goings on of the White House and the challenges it brings. Not someone who is clueless, but a great motivational speaker! I bet he can help people lose weight, stop smoking, and spend less money! :)
