A few more Tall Ships photos

July 6, 2008
We walked around Foss Waterway Sunday afternoon; the Tall Ships pull out Monday.  I wanted to get pictures of Eagle and HMS Bounty that I missed getting Thursday in the Parade of Sail.  Docked with furled sails just isn’t as thrilling as seeing these wonderful ships under full sail.  My earlier post has pictures of several other Tall Ships from the Parade of Sail.

HMS Bounty in dock.  Alas, she was so free with her sails aloft.  A rather gracelessly placed sign informed us that her boarding steps were made by quality union carpenters.
